CT defines the SDS as the Small Dragon Squad, although "small" wasn't exactly a strict requirement. It was a "strength in
numbers" group that terrorized Alfandria through sparklies, foodfight artillery and such. Unfortunately, pretty much
all of the SDS kinda faded away a while ago, with its
members either getting lost in the aether or heading off for other climes.

There was a sighting of the Calgary Dragonpede. Marada, the dracofascist, drops a freight train on a being for the mention of human control over dragons. Mondariloth escapes the train dropping unscathed but is then pulled into the ravenous maw of the beast called Sluggy. |
Main StoryJ'Karrah EbonDragon posted that since residents tend to get into some rather
technical discussions upon occasion, it would be helpful to have a "translation"
of some of the more commonly used phrases in technical/scientific conversations.
It is hoped that the following list of phrases and their definitions will
help others to understand the mysterious language of science and provide
for more enjoyable conversations for all.
Editor's Note: The News has not republished this List is its entirety.

Awellyth responds to Hex on the quesiton of wingsiblinghood:
"Yes, someone can refuse to be another's wingsib. This happens for various
reasons. I'd say the main reason is because different people have different
"qualifications" for wingsibs. This is not to mean that you're not good enough,
if someone says no. It is only to say, that some people take the whole issue
of wingsibling-ness more seriously than others. I've seen people with such
a big wingfamily they probably can't remember them all offhand. They probably
consider wingsibhood just something nice to do with friends. I'll take myself
as an example of the more "serious" people. I've refused to take people as
my wingsibs a few times, yes, and I will do it in the future. This is because
I think wingsibhood is almost equal to soulsibhood, which is a very serious
thing to me. And the point of this post was to tell you that what one person
considers wingsibhood, another would call only a silly play with a friend.
I'd personally never take a wingsib who I didn't think knows me very well,
but still (or perhaps because of that) my refusal would never be meant as
an insult. "
