Clan Definition

Starblade Darksquall asked, "What exactly is this 'clan' thing about? I've never been in one, but I've heard there were several."

Digi answered, "Essentialy its a family group. I was originally a member of the Clan Stormchaser that got started on Alfandria. I currently belong to the Clan of the Misted Lands, which is a spiritual family made up of several close friends of dragon persuasion. Think of it as a tribe, if that helps.

Greylight is covered in chocolate which sticks to the chocolate still covering him and launches two more cream pies. Ninereeds grabs a handy icecream launcher and fires. Greylight gets hit and fires two more cream pies. The large Bronze dragon gets hit by multiple cream pies, and falls to the ground, looking like a cream-covered snowman... err... snow-dragon. He tries to eat his way out of the cream pies covering him, and he holds up a white flag of surrender but before Greylight can see if Joe is really giving up, the flag drops to the ground to reveal a large choklit cannon, which is fired directly at Greylight. Greylight gets covered in chocolate and presses a button. A large cream pie launching machine is revealed. Greylight presses another button and two cream pies are launched simultaneously.

(By Sonarrat Citalis) From all accounts, the best of Glass' work, the one that could convince non-believers, is the Violin Concerto. I've heard a recording of that concerto which has been widely lauded, glowingly reviewed, and it just gave me a monstrous headache.  I watched him play some of his own music to a rather appreciative audience.  I wanted to run out of the room.  Not only was the music unspeakably horrible, but played so badly, it was insulting.

(Paid for by Scott L) As you prolly all know by now, we got a small Gather planned for Midwest dwaggies 'n other AFDr's in a coupla weeks.  Anyways, for those of you who'd like to make yerselves known but can't be there, would you care to send me a file or more of stuff you'd like us to have?  I'm putting together a gift cd-rom for all attendees and it'd be a really nice gesture.  Pics, poems, music, sounds, small movies, etc... would all be welcome.  Programs even (Wyrm - ya mind if I include Wyrmnet?).  So if you're interested, send me what you'd like to represent with to the following address . It's an email inbox I've created specifically for this, so anything sent there will receive special attention!  Just remember - the Gather is on the 16th through the 18th of August, so the deadline for me to receive anything will have to be the 14th!

(California, MistWing SilverTail)   A driver pulled along side a slower moving vehicle and tried to hit it with a baseball bat.  She failed, striking and denting her own car in the process.  When the police caught up with her, she told she did this because she was in a hurry and getting frustrated. Her license plate was PEACE 95.  She got it because she felt that there was too much violence in today's society.
