Bless the Children
Hex reports from a local RenFaire: Most children and some adults adored the dragon in their company. One mother stood out. She told her child to have a picture taken with a ghoul. I politely as possible informed I was a dragon of impeccable manners and intentions. She told the wee one to kill the monster with a sword. I took the mask off and once more tried to inform of the greatness of all dragons and we are not monsters. "Mom" then told the child we eat children. Bless the innocence of this child for when I bent down to tell her I was a friendly dragon she kissed me. Sympathy Our sympathies to Sir Charles on his Quest for the ever Elusive New Job!

Draconity Lux reported: Baxil's Draconity FAQ
(www.ecis.com/~ddragon/faq)
is quite informative, and although it isn't what I'd call complete, it's
one of the best single documents I've seen on the general subject of draconity.
Editorial
Reporter Unknown: You are only Uncle to your niece or any other applicable nieces or nephews. All others should refer to you only as a Lord, unless they are introducing you to the aforementioned nieces and nephews. Never should the two titles be combined, unless your name happens to be "Lord." In which case, "Uncle Lord" is the preferred arrangement. Of course, if a niece or nephew refers to you familiarly as "Uncle", "Lord Uncle" is a perfectly valid combination, since "Uncle" does not specifically indicate a formal title. Questions and Answers
Gaframor asked, Does anyone know where I can get
a dragon stuffed animal cheap? Since the holiday season is coming on, I have
been meaning to ask my parents for some sort of dragon toy, but don't know
where they could get it.
BTW, this is totally off the subject, but I've heard briefly metnioned a game called "Dragon Slides". What the HECK is that, and where can I learn to play it?Lux answered, If someone in your family is good with thread and fabric, there are some patterns on Wyrm's site (http://www.wyrm.org.uk) for stuffed dragon toys. Otherwise, well, the only ones up to my high standards that I've seen run about 60 bucks or more. From what I understand, Dragon Slides somehow involves sliding down the side of a building in icy weather into the snow banks, but I'm not aware of any particular rules for the game. It might be like Calvinball, in that there are no set rules. In any case, it sounds like fun, but I've not tried it yet. Weather for Freaks Scott reports record heat, straight-line winds,
severe thunderstorms, lightning so bad it sounds like a B-52 payload going
off over your head, and possible tornadoes. Blech!!!!
